She was raised on traditional gospel in Jacksonville, Florida but now Jen Elliott calls New York City her home. In 2003, she had the incredible opportunity to sign with up-and-coming indie record label City Canyons Records. A few short months later, they released her debut album, THE SECRET’S OUT.

Since then, Jen’s album has received Top 30 college radio airplay and critical acclaim by the press nationwide. She has been featured in issues of Entertainment Today, The Sun Herald, Inside Connection, and Keyboard Magazine. Jen and her songwriting partner, Bluestruck guitarist Anne Husick, w ere also recognized in 2004 by the Songwriter s Hall of Fame in their prestigious New Writers Showcase.

To date, the band has performed at the Black Potatoe Festival 2005, NY Auto Show 2005, GoGirls Elite Showcase 2004, A Day in the Park 2003, headlined at the Global Entertainment   Media Summits 2003/2004, and performed at MEANY Fest 2003. Jen   Bluestruck have also opened for the likes of Nils Lofgren, The Little River Band, and Nine Days.

Jen has made in a name for herself in NYC and in upstage New York, New Jersey and Connecticut by gigging regularly at venues such as The Red Lion, CBGBs Gallery, Arlenes Grocery, The Village Underground, The Downtown, Crash Mansion, The Sidewalk Cafe, the Red Door, Bayou, Cafe, the Triumph Brewery, Orphan Annie s and Mac s Bad Art Bar.

Jen   Anne

Jen also performs in a separate acoustic project with Anne Husick, a veteran New York musical force and guitarist for Bluestruck. Their collaboration as songwriters and performers has provided much of the material for the full band set. The duo continues to perform everywhere possible, since they are continually writing more material than they can actually perform in one show! Most recently they were invited to perform at the GoGirls Elite Showcase 2005, the Songwriters Hall of Fame New Writers Showcase 2004, and Earth Day NY.

Bluestruck

Anne Husick.New York’s Anne Husick has worked with her own band Shameless, Band of Susans, The Ronnie Spector Band, Wilson Pickett, Lida Husik, Lach, Siberia, and many other national recording artists. She has appeared on “Late Night with David Letterman,” and in the Manhattan and Chicago productions of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” and performed at the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. She has toured internationally, and all across America.

David Patterson.David is well respected for his diversity, originality, and the heart nd feelings he brings to his music. David has toured the world as a guitarist for Shawn Mullins and his unique talents have been featured in such diverse venues as the 1996 Olympics Opening Ceremony, the Jay Leno Show (with SM), and original compositions for theater and film in New York and Atlanta. Oh yeah, and he has a BFA in classical guitar from the University of Georgia.
